like i don't expect everyone to like information technology or even wanna give information technology a shot or anything, i know seth macfarlane's did Some Things that make a lot of people take him blacklisted as a creator that they don't wanna consume media from, and that's totally fine. hell personally i don't even like him that much.

just also information technology's nevertheless a Huge pet peeve of mine when people genuinely call up american dad is just family guy with different characters. i think that's super unfair,, particularly since lots of people i know who hate macfarlane just decided to give american dad a shot tend to agree that yes this show'southward waaay better. they're non all diehard fans or anything, but they similar it enough that i think it'southward worth mentioning.

idk i just think the comparison's merely plain Incorrect. similar honestly i call back the only similar things really are the shared creator and the fine art style. what drew me into american dad that family guy lacked were the rich relationships (which personally i retrieve family guy especially reaaally needs to piece of work on), the actual graphic symbol development, the running theme of institute family, the fact that the characters . yous know . actually seem to give a shit about each other,,, and just a agglomeration of other random shit that won me over that i couldn't discover watching family guy,, (as well kinda off topic simply kinda not ,, i think it says a lot nigh family guy when roger, a graphic symbol who will literally dice if he's not cruel, manages to be more kind and loving towards his family than most family guy characters do towards theirs . that's e'er really Inch Resting to me).

i'm rambling rip but idk fifty-fifty earlier this evidence became a hyperfixation the comparison e'er felt unwarranted because the ii really are nothing alike.

also since fg'southward been brought up anyways,, i kinda miss the first three seasons. imo those seasons were actually pretty adept, i still prefer pretty much all of ad to it, but i do have a lot of nostalgia towards those seasons and rewatching them they're not all that bad. the seasons aired after those ones were when i think they started to habiliment out. i nonetheless kinda have some nostalgia for pretty much every season that aired before i got into high school though because i used to lookout shows like this when i wasn't immune to ,, (and i regret to inform you fg used to exist a chip of a comfort show of mine growing up 😔), but they're definitely imo not as good equally it used to exist.

Ok. I respect Netflix. They can release whatever they want and they can produce shows equally much as they like. Only I feel like you demand to have at least 1 person well-nigh by who isn't completely drugged out.

I've seen some weird shows. I watched shows back when MTv was making cartoons that were ever weird. But I question when someone decided to make a prove like this.

This show. Looks like it was made past a group of drag Queens hopped upwards on scissure and whiskey during Saint Patrick'southward day. And I hateful that in the nicest manner possible that doesn't sound offensive to anyone who really likes this show.

This is the main description on the page. The start villain they show is an evil bimbo who wants to steal the "highlight" from all the gay brothers and sisters and then she tin become a smoking hot goddess. This show is and then damn... Ugh. It was originally a Brazilian web series and I estimate Netflix decided "Hey! Let's make this a bear witness with our make on it."

This evidence is taking every gay stereotype, every drag queen joke, every perverted comment and joke y'all can think of. I call up this show was made to peradventure promote gay/lgbtq stuff but IDK. This is less of a show and more an attempt on Netflixs part to brand something popular when it can't be saved due to bad writing and an art style that wouldn't even save the SheRa reboot.

Edit: I get this show was made for gays by gays. I take goose egg against that. My merely beef with it is to me it merely has bad writing. I get using perversion and muddied jokes to farther a show but to me this but pushes a line that I haven't seen in this manner since Sausage party. I'thou not proverb its creators are shit but it just bugs me with the writing.

Edit once again: I don't care if this isn't my civilization. I looked up the culture I understand a chip more and some people actually helped me by explaining some stuff. Just yeah alot of these jokes become over my head. And as for the comments like "Oh this sense of humor is nothing different from Big Mouth, Family Guy, South Park or other American shows.

Well estimate what. Not all that humor is smashing to start with. Family Guy still gets shit to this twenty-four hours and people call up Seth McFarlane is a terrible author. But if he was why does he have and then many long running shows and an actual movie nether his belt. He's like a second Adam Sandler, Credited screen writer merely dumb humour.

I take nothing against Super Drags or it's directors. I'm not calling them bad writers, non anymore anyway. I was harsh with some things I said yep and I apologise.

Only here's the affair. The people may be skilful writers and this may be a "Gay only show" as some of you probably wanna look at information technology. But it just isn't highly-seasoned to me. I won't sentinel it yeah I tin can't get into information technology. But it merely feels similar the writers wanted to bandwagon on the "Rough Humour and Slapstick Perversion comedy" train like everyone else.

Penny for a idea I guess.

Oh. And if being a GRINGO means I can accept am stance and not like a bear witness, then I'thousand one hell of a gringo.

I don't think there'south annihilation particularly wrong with (individual) having an aversion for a crude sense of humor. I mean, normally I'grand not all that fond of Seth McFarlane'south cartoons, and that'south okay. Information technology's totally fine to dislike Popular Team Ballsy, too. Just be aware that not everybody will hold with your stance. That's the rule of pollex in the twitterverse.

I don't wait them to concur, nor practice I look them to even like what I post.  I expect them to acknowledge I exist though and that having taste that opposes the mainstream IS fine and that they should deal with it.

Edgeless Humor is about like striking someone with a spiked order and expecting them to laugh.  At least with Puns there'southward painful WIT and intelligence.  Mocking someone else's ideas every bit a joke is about the equivalent of a certain art piece I know of.

If people want to chuckle at and copycat the rough memes that show generates, I don't care, simply I do care when such a show tries to infect my FGC fan community with information technology's lack of intelligence and anti-culture while taking pot-shots at ideas and concepts that people I respect worked long and hard on.

Like...Full Law-breaking to American animators/studios that make them? They get-go off with ideas that were good in the 90s/their outset years within creation, and so they don't practise anything creative with their content across stretching out their premise past all conceivable notions of reasonable duration. Not but that, just American developed animation seems to be determined to be really aesthetically ugly. Seth McFarlane's stuff has some actually unnerving character designs (it completely contravenes the fact that rounded outlines in design are supposed to experience soothing), Drawn Together didn't actually manage to combine different art styles into a single world, and Ren and Stimpy was only manifestly vomit inducing. For some reason they all seem to have these really dirty colour palettes too...fifty-fifty fun series like Superjail and Aqua Teen Hunger force looked pretty bad lol.

I started watching equally a joke to accept a break from all the #drama from SU and other shit and it was a refreshing pause from badly-paced plots. Honestly I similar a lot of mostly underrated shit similar Ever Later Loftier, Oggy and the Cockroaches, Rabbids, etc. When it comes to anime im p boilerplate in my tastes tho. I like flame of recca but not to a very large extent. I also liked yu-gi-oh up til yuusei's arc.

like, I was never a big fan of Ben 10, merely I admired it's animation and the universe it had built

from what I'one thousand seeing of the reboot on CN right now, it's about as bad as the powerpuff girls reboot and teen titans go

information technology's full of screaming and noise and it only butchers the original source material, it's now just Another take a chance-one-act reboot, instead of Ben protecting Earth and fighting malicious extraterrestrials, he'southward now fighting evil clowns, a steampunk guy, an angry kid with a robot suit who wants apple juice, infant sitters and mutant farm animals.

The animation is extremely cheap and shows it's limited upkeep (guessing around seven,000-12,000 USD per episode, average cost for an American cartoon is effectually xv,000-20,000+, cheap cartoons are easy to produce by outsourcing the process to Korea or Taiwan or Nippon where animators don't make minimal wage, digitally animative is even cheaper.). Things are oftentimes out of proportion, lip syncing doesn't match with dialogue frequently, groundwork and foreground detail is very express, there's framerate inconsistencies, and everything looks flat and lacks depth. The fine art way used for Homo characters are bromidic and look like they tin be pasted into the PPG reboot or Teen Titans Go. The biggest problem with the animation is that everything is maintained in a standard 24 fps, always in a abiding wide-angle which never changes, and shots follow the lazy Seth McFarlane mode in which characters stand up still for a lengthy amount of time and talk, are always in a 3/fourth view, and the only thing that is animated are the mouths, occasional blinks, and paw gestures.

I don't recall any music played at all in episode, if so it's completely generic and forgettable and is just used every bit filler.

I actually have no clue what's going on with Cartoon Network'due south current phase (2012-onward), there are some good shows like Clarence and We Behave Bears and Steven Universe, but it seems CN's abandoned providing original content that's rich in story and is entertaining and so they can focus on cranking out cheap, price-efficient, outsourced cartoons that follow the standard activeness/fantasy or sitcom layout, and playing them often so they generate income from ad acquirement.

I really promise this doesn't effect Adult Swim and Every bit maintains itself as independent from CN, CN kinda disgusts me right now because it simply feels extremely nihilistic and soulless, not caring what they shit because kids will watch anything flashy and recognizable

My biggest problem with the Seth McFarlane art style is, without a doubt, how he draws fists on hips.

This isn't a one fourth dimension thing either, if a fist is on a hip it is backwards. I'm having a hard time wrapping my mind around how y'all'd even simulate this in real life.
